I saw the Gary Allan video and noticed the kilt too.

"Bagpipes Cryin'" is one of the songs I have learned to sing when I go to AMVETS for karaoke night. I try to work in a song like that most nights I go, because I feel it's very appropriate to the venue.

My friend finally sent me her picture from the concert.

    She said,
I s'pose you'll get yourself a black skirt now for formal events.
I didn't know country festivals were formal!! They didn't used to be!!

If you look closely at the picture you can tell it is formal. The guys have their baseball caps facing forward.

Oh yeah, I've seen that video, I thought it looked like a kilt. I'll have to pay more attention next time it's on.

Great video. Thank you for posting it here. We all owe a HUGE debt to our fallen heroes, both past and present. We enjoy our freedom and the right to chose what our best path in life is because brave men and women have stood up over the years to fight for what they, and we, believe in. I'm pretty sure that we all have friends currently over seas serving our countries. I have lost fiends to this fight against tyrants and I hope never to lose another, but I will always remember them and their sacrifice...
