    Attworth .... we live in a small old welsh cottage.
    We bought this place fifteen years ago and paid a sixth of the price of the tiny one bedroom apartments that are springing up everywhere down in the city centre today. I dunno how people starting off these days can even raise the cash for a deposit on a house ... it gone nuts ... we would have to have tent !

    I know the feeling. There aren't any nice apartments to speak of around my area for less than 700-800 USD (about 1/3 of my monthly pay.) Tack on to that utilities and food. Needless to say my first apartment wasn't very nice. Now I'm back at home for a while.
