from once a week to daily
yup, I've been kilted for exactly 4 weeks now.
1st week I wore my only kilt exactly 1 time.
2nd week saw me with 2 kilts and wearing it maybe twice a week (one day to work and going to the movies on Sunday)
3rd week found me owning 4 kilts and wearing them twice to work and every other day at home
4th week has finished and I now own 5 kilts (one of them my first wool military box pleat), and I wear them daily to work, at home, out and about, etc.
I'd say I transitioned smoothly and quickly. Amazing how I can NOT bring myself to wear pants now.
The kilt/borg has won, again!

I wish I could be full time. However work won't allow them do to the length. Plus, I think it frightens them. However if I'm not at work I'm in a kilt. I'm also up to five kilts. looking at number 6. For 8 hours a day I'm misserable and confined. The rest of the time I'm FREE!!!

I'm glad to see you had a successful and quick transition. I'm not there yet... My current job won't allow a kilt and I don't wear one every day when not working...yet. I currently have three, but one is now too big.
At 5 kilts a month you'll be catching up with Hamish in no time!

Gee, what is your secret? Mine keep shrinking whilst in the closet (I'm sure they do it out of spite, when I'm not looking!)

We admitted we were powerless over kilts, that our lives had become unbifurcated.

Wow Hector! That is a quick conversion.... Well done sir.
"A veteran, whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve, is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life." That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it." anon

Congratulations, Hector! Sure does feel good, doesn't it?! Been fully kilted for about 7 years, just part of who I am now.
