Kilted Inspector

As a take off on casual Fridays, I wear a wear a kilt and call it Kilted Fridays at my place of work, as the manager of an ‘an active adult gated community.’ I was following up on some noncompliance issues with members which required me to inspect their property to see if they had complied with the Board’s request.

One member responding to my knock at the front door was ecstatic to find a kilted man. Her married surname is Scottish. She told me about her trips to Scotland. She said she wished she had camera to take my photo. I did. She took the below photo which I will have printed for her.

Well that would certainly make my day. You should give her a pie to when you deliver the pic because everyone likes pie.

Nice pic Ern! Of course last Friday you met me for lunch in SHORTS!! Then you got to see me dump about 24 ounces of Mt. Dew on my USAK. Thank goodness for Dryel. It seems to be no worse for the incident. I wore my black AK to work yesterday. If the boss weren't out of town, I would have called you. Just can't take a long lunch when he's gone. Maybe next week. Long live kilted Fridays!! Oh BTW, I think Drew and I will both be at Brad's shop next weekend. He in his black UK, and I'm not sure what I'll be in. TTYL

Right! Didn't want to risk getting algaecide on one of my kilts. As a fellow co-worker applied it to our lake that morning. But looking back, I had more to fear from splashing Mountain Dew!

Glad to learn no damage done.
