    "The Naked Kilt"

A couple of weeks ago Fraser and Kirkbright had a special on the Maple Leaf tartan in the remnants section. As I have wanted a kilt in this tartan for some time, I ordered 5 meters of the fabric. Yesterday the mailman carried this heavy package to my door with a comment "This is some heavy stuff!".

So I present to the rabble, the first picture that I have titled "The Naked Kilt"...

I plan on having two box pleats made out of this, one for me and one for my wife.... I am thinking that I will have mine made to the gold stripe.
"A veteran, whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve, is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life." That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it." anon

    Nice!

I see they have some other leftovers very cheap. It's a pity, that shipping would cost me more then fabric.
