I catch sight of other kilted chaps in my area often enough, though it's usually when I've opted for trousers for one reason or another. My reaction isn't so much joy at seeing another (though there is that), but rather regret that I wasn't wearing mine, too.

    Regards,
    Rex.

Another Kilt Sighting at Wal Mart

Today, I had another kilt sighting in the local Wal Mart. One I hadn't seen before. I complimented the young man wearing it and asked about it. He told me had purchased the Tripp Kilt at Hot Topic in the nearby Mall.

I end up in the local Wal Mart every few weeks. (I put their business ethics aside for a little while.) Last time as I was going in a 30-year oldish woman came out and said: "wild legs" to me. That was something I'd never heard before. I assumed it was positive as is almost always the case now a days. Let's hope for more sighting at local stores in the future.

Driving in the parking lot of Home Depot last Thursday I saw a young fellow in a chocolate UK Workman. I rolled down my window and said "Great UK" as I drove by and gave him a thumbs up. He smiled and returned the gesture. So there were two kilties in attendance at the shopping Center that day.

Then yesterday at Target a fellow came up to me with his son and asked about my Alan H. made X Kilt. He wanted to know where to buy one! I briefly explained XMTS and he said he might check us out. He had wanted a modern kilt for their comfort.

    Cheers

I haven't seen anyone wearing kilts around here... maybe I'll see someone before I move back to Texas (btw anyone from around the Fort Worth area?).

I wore my kilt into Wal-Mart just last night to check my schedule.

Saw one man outside the store in some kind of khaki casual once, who also was sporting quite a beard.
