Might I ask what your first tartan was? Pics maybe?
Nothing official. I think the seller on ebay called it a "irish tartan". Reminds the Irish national I guess. I like it though. Not very formal maybe, but a great casul kilt.
I bought it for a wedding, and here I am, having a cigarette before going to the church. I didn't have a lot of money to spend on my outfit (and still managed to spend too much) thus the day sporran and lack of jacket etc. Then again, it was a hot day, so I didn't really miss a jacket and there was not kilt police on sight (I was the the only one kilted there, surprice, surprice)
