Chicago Kilt Night 26th July
I'm afraid I only have the one decent photo from the recent kilt night but there was another camera around maybe there are more? (plead, plead)

Jeez...I hope that there are a few more shots...that makes us look like a bunch of malingerers hanging out in front of a bar (albeit a very nice bar) looking for trouble.
Wasn't someone subjected to a kilt check about then? I'm sure it was one of the younger guys...I mean, I look like kilted Ed Sullvan and I'm sure that I heard some passer-by who spotted GlenC ask his companion, "Wasn't that Vice President Cheney?"

MacTavishofJapan came all the way from Edinburgh for the Kilt Night!. I think Brewboy has a couple of pictures, including, I hope, the kilt check. A very cheeky, somewhat drunk lassie asked him the question and then said, "I'm going to check, is that okay?" Brewboy shrugged and she reached up and found out for herself. The guy and girl with her couldn't believe she'd actually done it.

However, being an attorney, Brewboy had a few papers that the young lady had to sign before she proceded with the kilt check...
"Sign here...and here...intitial here, here and here...okay...go ahead."
Lucky that I had my notary public seal with me...

Sorry it took me so long to get the pics up, between work and the opening of my show this weekend, it's been a bit hectic. Not all of the pictures came out, but enough to see what fun was had.
Here is the rabble with MacTavish and his lovely wife (McFarkus, MacTavishOfJapan, Mrs. MacTavish, Glen C, 11hr, auld argonian):
Same group, but with me substituted in for McFarkus:
Brewboy, McFarkus, and MacTavishOfJapan wearing post-kilt-check smiles:
The Chicago Rabble, our honored guest, and the kilt checkers:
It was great to have you out Mr. and Mrs. MacTavish, and Congratulations again!

Good bunch. Great pics. Did the pub supply kiltcheckers, or did you bring your own?
