Nice looking sporran. I'd suggest for a more finished look to the stitching, at least in front, that you sew the seam so that the alternating intervals between holes are stitched for an uninterrupted sewn look. Another way to give the flap edge a finished look is to cut a thin, narrow liece of leather for edging as shown below, glue it around the raw edge of the flap, then punch and sew.
