Why wear white when there's so many other colors to choose from? Also, keep your eyes open at Highland Games. GlenC, Breboy, and I all got full argyle hose for $35.

Ya, it does seem like I hear a lot about the Highland games having venders selling hose and stuff at really good prices... They moved the games over to the other side of the valley from me, but I'll have to try to get out there next year.
I do have a couple of gray knee high socks with a bit of a cable patern and a red band at the top. They're not hose, but they work all right for casual I guess. I think I will get a pair of charcoal gray hose, and a regular gray at some point.
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…
Yes, I have squirrels in my brain…

My stance has not changed since I last posted. I will, however, be searching for deals at the Central NY Scottish Games this weekend.
