People are starting to recognize UKs as a kilt arounf here too. I was wearing my olive Mocker at Barnes and Noble Friday night. The kids were at a big party there for a new book opening at midnight - Breaking Dawn? Some vampire romantic series. Anyway, there were a lot of folks there and they had only good things to say about the UK. I was actually wishing by the end of the night that I'd worn tartan, just because it's more...colorful, i guess.

I suppose if you are not wearing hose, or wearing shorts if you do, it's just a tattoo. Has anyone commented then. I don't like weapons and never have a sgian dubh (sp?) on me, but since I have two tats already, I wonder if this is something I would get?

    Sorcererdale,

Yes, I've gotten complimentary comments on it while wearing shorts. I'll respect your right not to like/carry weapons and wish you well. Most of my extended family are of a like mind. I view it as a natural right though I consider the mind the weapon and anything else just the tool at hand. This is getting too deep for this late. Take care.

I'll try to have mine colored and try to simulate a 3D effect, not sure if that would make matters worse, but your tattoo is simply fantastic.

    Thanks for the inspiration.
I work with a girl who just had some ink and it was done without any black outline. And it really pops out at you!
