Back in the '60s Gordon Stobo was a good quality highland outfitter on the Royal Mile. A charming gent, I bought a number of sterling silver accouterments from him. This of course has absolutely nothing to do with your question, but sometimes tit-bits of information are amusing (or interesting) in their own right. Now you can set about hunting for an Elliott kilt pin from Gordon Stobo on the Royal Mile.
