The Tripp Kilt may not be your (or my) style, but there is really nothing to be gained by trashing it. It does in fact have pleats. Some forumites own one, or have younger family members that do.
Gauranga, some of the biggest meltdowns on this forum have been over the definition of the kilt. If you wish to explore the issue, I advise using the search feature, or send me a pm, and I'll provide a link to one such 13-page thread that was eventually locked down.
