The "un-pocket" watch
Got this [pot-metal, Chinese] $20-plus-shipping watch from a catalog that my mother gets. They don't have any online ordering process, but you can get a catalog through their bare-bones website at http://www.traditionscatalog.com/
Fun thing is that the watch is mounted with 12 at the bottom, so it "reads right" when you look down at it. Here it is hanging in closet on the camo X-Kilt I recently made for Bob. Clips nicely to the beltloop, as shown.

I found a couple of similar upside-down clip-on watches at Overstock.com for under $US30.

Online ordering is easy and shipping is cheap, sometimes free.

I find the ones from Overstock a bit clunky but that watch Finn links to is quite handsome (at twice the price, but then we're not talking Rolex here ).
