    Howdy, from Southern Illinois

    Well, I've just ordered my first kilt, it should arrive later this week. Short of starting a brawl (which my wife wouldn't approve of), or wooing bar maids (which she'd tease me for mercilessly) is there any standard act to mark one's first step into the wonderful world of kilts?

    My first kilt arrived on St. Pat's '04. I went out for a few. Had a picture taken.
    If I might suggest... Check your wife's reaction to seeing you kilted. You may not need to leave the house.
