    Rezlands (no kilts)

Posted some kilt pics up on the USA Kilts site. Was out roaming around the rezlands this weekend playing with the new camera - particularly the 300mm telephoto lens.

If you dig out a map of Arizona and look at the road between Kaibeto, Arizona and Tonalea, Arizona (Navajo 21) you'll see where these pics came from.

Here's Whisky Rock on the North side of White Mesa near Kaibeto.

Probably was named Whisky Rock since it looks like a fancy whisky bottle.

Here's White Mesa Arch. Its on the South side of White Mesa

And finally, the rains have the reservation green with new sprouts and most every horse out on the range had their head down munching away on the new growth. This one colt preferred her chow direct from mama.

Great photos. I expected to see the stagecoach being chased by the Indians! Did they ever really do that or was it just in the cowboy films?

    Aye Phil,

Lots of stage lines around Arizona in olden times. But more likely White road agents than Indians that held them up.
