    SWK Standard Leatherneck Tartan

Just bought a Stillwater standard in Leatherneck tartan from Turpin. Big thanks to him. He was a pleasure to deal with. I am quite happy with the kilt especially given the price. This will make a great knocking around kilt that I don't have to worry about getting dirty. No one is going to mistake this for a tank, but for the money it is very good.

First my new kilt pin that was a gift from my mother

Ain't it a great feeling to kilt up in a Leatherneck?!!

Don't forget, this beautiful tartan goes with many colors...tan, black, olive, gold...and

And...if you wear the right shirt(s) they won't have to ask you what tartan it is.

That's Freelander #4 along for the ride. Kilts the 13 ounce Strathmore Mills hand sewn by Kathy Lare.

You're gonna find this tartan looks great with just about anything and any color you wanna wear it with.

I have to agree with you Ron. I have been trying different combinations and it is a very versatile tartan. When I was in I was a NBC bubba, so my Defense Nuclear Weapons School (DNWS) shirt seemed appropriate. I am planning on wearing it with my red devil dog shirt as well.

I will actually be getting a kilt in wool in this tartan within the next few months. One of my best friends is getting married and all his groomsmen are military so we will have all 4 service tartans at the wedding. In the meantime this will be a good knockabout kilt, and one I can wear out to the pre wedding festivities without worrying.
