Knitting pattern for kilt hose?

I love ravelry, but I mostly just wing it with all types of knitted socks. I've never been good at following directions.

My sister is planning on knitting me a pair of kilt hose, and has been sending me patterns to look at.
These have full instructions (if you can read that sort of thing - I can't), and best of all, they are free
