Just bought a Stillwater standard in Leatherneck tartan from Turpin. Big thanks to him. He was a pleasure to deal with. I am quite happy with the kilt especially given the price. This will make a great knocking around kilt that I don't have to worry about getting dirty. No one is going to mistake this for a tank, but for the money it is very good. First my new kilt pin that was a gift from my mother Now the Kilt

I have to agree with you Ron. I have been trying different combinations and it is a very versatile tartan. When I was in I was a NBC bubba, so my Defense Nuclear Weapons School (DNWS) shirt seemed appropriate. I am planning on wearing it with my red devil dog shirt as well. I will actually be getting a kilt in wool in this tartan within the next few months. One of my best friends is getting married and all his groomsmen are military so we will have all 4 service tartans at the wedding. In the meantime this will be a good knockabout kilt, and one I can wear out to the pre wedding festivities without worrying.
