How about either Friday or Saturday? Thursday night is fencing practice for my oldest daughter. And Tipp Inn sounds good.
"My beloved America, thank you for your children. If your children want to become soldiers I will train them. When they are hungry I will feed them. When they are thirsty I will give them water. When they fight for freedom I will lead them. When they are unsteady on the battlefield I will motivate them. If they die on the battlefield I will bury them. So help me God."

Wow! After I voted I noticed that 100% of the votes were the same as mine. Then I noticed that I'm the only one that voted! C'mon guys, let's jump in there. We haven't had a kilt night in the Metroplex in a while.
The Tipp is good, but I've never been to Trinity Hall. I also saw that there's a place called "The Fox and Hound" in Richardson. Anyone know anything about it?
My wife is starring in "Menopause the Musical" running at the Eismann center in Richardson. Having a kilt night on Friday or Saturday would open things up for her to join us after she does her show.

Though I plan on making my triumphant return to the DFW Kilting community soon afraid I'll still have to wait till after I'm done moving to the new apartment. And the move is happening on that very weekend!
CelticSire, where does your daughter Fence at? I've fenced at several clubs around the Dallas area over the years but I'm always looking for new places that I might not have known about.

Fencing Institute of Texas, it's on Luna Rd in Farmers Branch. Great bunch of people there, and the instructors and coaches are top-notch.
Fox and Hounds is a chain. They're okay for a neighborhood bar, more sports bar-ish, if you ken. I'd be all right with Trinity as well as the Tipp, or anywhere else that the rabble decides to go.

You guy are killing me...I get in from Iraq late on the 22nd at Houston Intercontinental Airport...I don't think I could push an extra 5 hours drive up, but would love to meet the northern crew.
Red...One of these days girl, one of these days.

This is a pitiful response!
Chase - i am sure your loved ones are not going to understand your recent arrival, only to jet off again to the northern reaches to share a pint with those you don't know...so, bring 'em along!
Fox and Hound, hmmm? CelticSire nailed it pretty well...more of a sports bar where the locals gather - they SOOOOO would not understand the kilt - unless it's me or Cynthia wearing a mini-kilt and then they would confuse us with waitresses.
For those who HAVE responded....thanx.
Where is everybody who has been wanting a KILT NIGHT??????
