At my job a kilt is considered 'ethinc dress' and because of our support of diversity, completely within the guidelines of our dress code--regardless of season.
Helps that my boss is a warm blooded celtic woman ;-)
Yep, the more you wear your kilt the easier it gets.
Although they cost a little more I love the socks from Scottish Tartans Museum. I have five pairs. They wear great, they feel good, they clean up to like new condition, and they look good to boot!
