If the "bunker" turns out to be as exquisitely done as the lighter weight tweed, it will be something to behold! Looking forward to the pics...

The "bunker" is finished; I just tried it on ...

It's simply amazing. The ideal winter kilt...

Now the waist coat... just a few more hours to go. I will be having concerts tomorrow Friday, then Saturday and Sunday. So we wont be able to show pictures before Monday. I would like to take them outdoors, in front of my winter wood stack.

Can't wait to see pictures of the new "bunker". What weight cloth is it in ounces, having trouble converting in my head from grams/meter. Is it also double box?

The bunker's fabric (according to my calculations...) should be around 23oz The tweed kilt on this thread is a good 16oz
The bunker is a Double Box Pleated kilt . Chrystel wants to specialise in making exclusively these Double Box for men's kilts .
