    Talking Omg!!!

So Rocky is working on my kilt RIGHT NOW!!! Ok, it's 10 O'clock at night, so maybe not right now, but still, you know what I mean.

This is my first kilt, and knowing that it's being worked on, specific to my own measurements, is just absolutely amazing!!!

I'm having a hard time conveying the sense of wonder and excitement I'm experiencing at the moment. Not only is this my first kilt, it's the first time I'm ever going to have something specifically made to fit me. Any suits or other things have always been purchased 'off the rack', and then brought to a seamstress to have altered to fit my form. This is starting from scratch, raw material, and being made to fit me. Kind of awe inspiring when you stop and think about it, how tailored garments are the exception and not the rule these days.

Anyway, the jones monster is just wearing me out, and I wanted to share.

    Take care all,

    Casey

EDIT>> odd how it won't let me put OMG in all caps in the title......

Don't explode when you're waiting, it ruins the point.

And my wife picks at me, daily. I open my email religiously, awaiting a message stating my kilt is on the way. Yes, this is my first also . It should be here within the next week or so. Now, we just wait til it arrives .

A kilt by Rocky or Kelly is well worth the wait. Once you strap it on, you will have a difficult time taking it off. My American Heritage Semi Traditional from Rocky is getting a lot of wear. Like almost daily. It was well worth the wait..
