Always a good feeling. I've got a kilt on the way as well, an SWK Thrifty. It'll be a good cheap knockaround kilt to wear in the ring.

But after this one, I'm saving up for either a Semi-Trad from Rocky or a Woolen Mill custom fitted six yarder. Talk about jones, man.

    Wear it well, Casey.

Once you get your kilt all of us Kilted Carolinians will HAVE To have a kilt night. It's been too long since the last one. Plus, I have to show off my weathered McKenzie that is on it's way from Jerry as we speak.

Congrats. I remember my first custom made article of clothing (a bespoke suit, not a kilt unfortunately). I still wear it, and there's no feeling quite like a custom made garment.

Soon I will have a custom made kilt...soon.

When my post-lady starts noticing me standing around the mailbox everyday around 2pm, she assumes I'm getting a kilt.

Congrats! Must be a tough wait. I'm still looking forward to buying my first custom fitted kilt someday.

I did have someone ask me if my black UK standard was a custom piece, but alas, I suppose it just fits well.

I know the feeling. I got my first (SWK Standard Irish Saffron) within days of ordering but I'm still waiting on two others ordered at the same time---and I'm still sporranless-- waiting for that too! I second/third/fourth the Carolina get together.
