I agree. The only thing I'd like to add to this is, if you're planning on wearing a kilt full time, wear it on the first day. If you only plan on wearing it once in a while, then I would put it on when you are ready.

Good general advice. My youngest son did it at NC State, and
quickly set up a reputation as a "wierdo, but a nice one. Great chick magnet. Too bad that he was already married with children. . . .
