Thanks! I just emailed Stillwater to see if they'll get his size in in Black Watch soon. They only have smalls right now.
I've looked at so many of these sites in the last couple of days--seems like I can get everything I need at some--but then they are pricier. The places with the cleaper kilts are not so much one-stop-shopping. Oh well, I'm having fun at least.

If you've got until Xmas you probably have a good shot of it coming back into stock at Stillwater, otherwise your next best option is a Sportkilt. Happy hunting.

I actually have a "cart" loaded at Sport Kilt. It is just a little on the $$ side. But I'm willing to bet he could wear the sport kilt for several years so maybe it is worth it.

First of all from the Cape Fear Valley NC. You already have the advice I would have given. If you cannot find a Balmoral in his size, they are fairly easy to construct, basically a circle, a "donut" and a headband.
