New from Kincardine
Hi;
I've been brousing the site since spring and finally decided to join in. I purchase my first kilt this spring while shopping with my wife in Stratford Ontario. She was looking for tartans and kilts for the Kincardine Theatre Guild play "Hammish. Of course I had to model the various kilts for her and eventually purchased one.
The tartan is Antique Buchanan made by O'Neil of Dublin. I've worn it several times mainly to the Scottish Festivals in town and the weekly Kincardine Pipe Band parade on Saturday nights. All the response has been great. A friend commented that "Frenchman don't wear kilts". That's where my user name came from.
I'm looking forward to spending more time on this site.

from coastal North Carolina. I sailed into Kincardine four years ago and marched with the pipe band on the Saturday night. What a wonderful tradition.
