    I see shorts of various lengths on the streets all the time. I figure that a kilt can be of whatever length the person wearing it wishes. I prefer at the top of the knee for comfort and so that it doesn't hit the back of the knees; but that's just my take.

    Hm, I think some people might pull off the longer lengths.

    their were no rules back then, only pictures of what people preferred. I think people just got the kilt rules from pics and personal preferences. so i don't see why it can't be at bottom or a little below, however if its mid shin then somethings wrong.

    No one needs to feel "looked down on" or feel that they cannot wear the kilt where they want to. We are all just adults discussing preferences. The kilt was a functional garment first. Whatever is the most functional for you is the first consideration.

    That is a completely different matter, that is supposed to be that length it's one of Howie's from TFCK. He is certainly pushing the envelope. Then again that is what Howie does best.
