Inverted Pleat Question
I am doing my pleat basting and am wndering how the inverted pleat is supposed to fold as it goes from the bottom to the top of the kilt. Do I need to stretch and skew to match the stripes or is this how it's going to lay? (please see linked picture) Inverted Pleat

You split it half and half forward and backward. You don't do any skewing during the pleat basting part. In the next step (p. 88), you'll baste down the upper part of the inverted pleat on the underapron side, and then you'll do the skewing.
