Wow Arlen £55 that's a bargain, lucky I didn't see it or I would have had a punt.I have also been looking for a while for a clan Ranald kilt, maybe one day..

Thanks again for all the compliments. It was a very lucky few days, there.
Ranald, I very much know the feeling. I spent years planning for the day I would be able to afford that Kilt. When I saw it on ebay I just emailed the seller right away!
Hamish, while I totally agree that the tie is far too bold for the outfit, I just have a big attachment to that tie and wear it with almost anything!
