All of Lochcarron's tartan is now woven with a turned selvedge. But they are very good about placing the selvedge in a part of the tartan where it is as unobtrusive as possible. They do a very nice selvedge, better, in my estimation, than Marton Mills does. So, no one should agonize about any of Lochcarron's tartan.
It's just my personal opinion that nothing can beat D.C. Dalgliesh custom weaves for overall quality, especially the selvedge.
