As mentioned before, my wife generally wears long skirts, because she likes them. They are she says also both warmer and cooler. I wear a kilt, and find the same also true!

Scratchy's Lass, I hear you. I mean, I haven't experienced what you're experiencing, but the shock of loading on 45 pounds on a frame your size would be...well....a shock. You are also right, if that's what you're eating and you're packing on fat; there's a medical issue. The stinker is that the fat has to come from somewhere, you're not eating enough to pack it on, so that means your body is converting other tissue to fat. We all do that to some degree, but when it gets out of control, something ain't right.
Please oh please DO get some medical help about that!
Oh, and tell Scratchy that I said you are a Babe with a capital "B", and you oughtta wear what you want.....when you can.
Lily, I rather like the skirt and vest combination. It looks good!

Please do! Sounds to my non medical mind as if you may be holding a LOT of fluid, and that is not good news! (Been there, but not quite so much!) I pray that it gets straightened out soon.

I wear what I want, it does tend to be jeans and tshirts on a daily basis, but I'm lazy and don't iron. I also cannot be arsed to match. However, I had to laugh at the fact that a friend from school saw me in a dress for the first time Sunday and was so terrified by this he still makes comments. Not always nice ones... but he's a ummm... ill mannered appendage at times.

Hmm this might be the same thing my mom was on for 7 years. If so its mostly water weight. Nasty stuff, I've had to go on it from time to time.

I like for her to look good but not as if she's "advertising." For the record, I only have objected once regarding a low cut ( really low cut) dress--she altered it to keep me happy.
You just remember, when the guys checking her out......She is going home with you! Let them check her out and marvel at your good fortune!

I agree with you. When somebody looks at my wife, I take it as a compliment.
