Urgent: Good pic of kilt 'to stripe' needed!
Can anyone help me out? As I mentioned a few weeks ago, my 'kilts & tartan' e-book is going to be published in hard copy form soon. And I'm putting the finishing touches to the content to send to the publishers. The deadline is, erm, today!
I've just realised I have no suitable photo of a kilt pleated to stripe, which I'd really like to include. And we have none in stock at Scotweb currently. Can anyone here help? It would need to be in good quality at quite a high resolution, clearly showing the effect of the arrangement. And taken from the rear, obviously!
Please email me direct if you can help. No payment is possible... just immortality via a credit in the acknowledgements!

Thanks Jamie - that's a nice kilt. But I was really hoping for something that would display the verticality more strongly. It will probably end up being reproduced pretty small, so the image needs to be very clear what it's representing...
However, I do like the way your second pic shows the pleating system very nicely, so I may forward this to the publishers as another possibility, if I may.
Any other 'stripes' out there? :-)
Also, any good images of a Feileadh Mor (Great Kilt) anyone?

Thanks McMurdo - that looks ideal! I particularly like the vibrant colours showing the stripes well. I think the naval should do nicely.

Nick,
You are most welcome to use the second picture. I think it shows off what a Military Box Pleat looks like pretty well.
Cheers

Nick, when I get home from work I'll do a quick change and get a better shot with the correct flashes etc. and I'll email you the original files.
