    You look great.

I personally do not like scrunchie (ruche) ties (somewhere Glen and Trefor's nostrils flair and their cheeks twitch) but that is just me. I think that if that sort of tie makes you feel elegant or dashing, then you are going to look far more elegant and dashing wearing one instead of a bow tie (for the sole reason that you feel elegant and dashing*). Hence, you look great.

Kudos on finding such a good deal.

    Cheers

    * It is very important in life to look and feel elegant and dashing. Rex, Hamish, Glen, Trefor, and a bunch of us understand this. As for you Grant, put the rubber chicken away and we'll talk.

Oh! That looks great on you - what a lot of fun. You got such a good deal on the jacket, maybe you'd consider having the waist nipped in just a little bit more. You have the physique to really pull that cropped jacket look off to the max.

    I'm not envious.

    Really.

    Much at all.

Oh, dear! To be lumped into the same category as these gentlemen, I don't know what to say. I don't even own a kilt jacket (yet). But I must disagree about Grant. Anyone who can make an entrance in head-to-toe kilted desert camouflage or Maple Leaf (Canadian camo) without betraying a hint of irony is dashing in my book.
At any moment you must be prepared to give up who you are today for who you could become tomorrow.
