It does sort of resemble our skyline, and the chicken and the flying pig are definitely Cincinnati things - hard to explain.
The article about National Homebrewers Conference mentions being served BBQ and beer samples by members of homebrew clubs "dressed like FBI agents or wearing kilts and fezzes." [...]
Could have been restauranteur "Andy" Hajjar, of Andy's Mediterranean Grill, who's been known to wear both a kilt and a fez, sometimes (I've heard) at the same time. He's a friend of Scotch whisky bottler and marketeer Jeffrey Topping, the Wild Scotsman, who (I've also heard) may have had something to do with the kilt. If you are ever in Cincinnati, I highly recommend a trip to Andy's for the food and the fun, casual atmosphere. Kilts welcome!

Finally, their "Beer Destinations" article covering Cincinnati mentions Nicholson's Tavern & Pub "serves up beer, Scotch, and tons of eye candy -- assuming, that is, that dudes in kilts qualify as eye candy."
They have a huge guide book for their beer and scotch selections, most of the guys wear kilts, and the gals are usually in short pleated tartan skirts, so there's something for everyone at Nicholson's.

    Regards,
    Rex.

Have only been to your fair city once, in the early 1980s, for a motorcycle trade show. My boss-at-the-time was a total rib fanatic, so the only place we went to eat for three days (I'm not kidding, he'd have had us there for breakfast if they served) was some famous-for-their-ribs joint. I seem to recall entering from a back alley, place was all full of baseball memorabilia, and yeah the ribs were outstanding -- but after three days I was ready for something else!

I did get to take a short stroll outside the hotel, along a big open promenade with fountain -- lovely. Not sure if or when I'll ever get back, but I'll put Nicholson's on the short list.
