Man, I'd trade that for being close to a Target in a heartbeat.

I saw those the other day as well.
A good option for us kilities, but also just nice that waistcoats might be coming back in style.
Cheers

Hmmm. I wonder if they have solid black in a 48 chest. I might have to wander in this weekend.

Not to highjack, but there are now even more Target Stores in San Jose. I can throw rocks in three directions from my house and come close to a store and there are more going in every month.

So I checked a second Target at lunch today. Anyone seen one in XXL? The XL is a little snug. Checked online and all 4 patterns are out of stock.

I'm a bit excited about that. I've been looking for affordable waistcoats for months.
I've been seeing alot of high school students wearing them with tee shirts. Somebody (me, perhaps?) should show these kids the right way to dress.

They seem to run a bit small. I usually wear small shirts and jackets, but I'm going to have to get at least a medium.

The Target website has a few waistcoats but, unfortunately, they are listed as out of stock. At least you can see what they look like...
Listed as Merona herringbone vest ($24.99)

They have charcoal and navy chalkstripe versions in addition to the charcoal and brown herringbone ones shown above. They were also out of stock online.

That has been my experience with them as far as ordering online. If the stock is in the store, fine, if not fuggiaboudit. Too bad really, as their mdse seems to be somewhat better quality than Wal*Mart, and they occasionally have a few items that will fit me.

I got the one in charcoal. After trying it on, I'm thinking it might not even need to be modified for kilt wear.
