    Sometimes...

I know I'm letting myself become a kiltie. My three kilts are getting an airing they haven't had in nearly a year. And there are quite a few members who are full-time kilties and quite a number more who would be if they could.

But sometimes a kilt is not what I want to wear in the morning.

Yes, strange as it might seem, I've now experienced that moment when trying to decide which kilt to don -- and discovering I felt like wearing trousers that day...

I've yet to wear my kilt, though I tried it on with a shirt yesterday before switching to shorts, (ok, yeah, I kinda chickened out. I admit.) But I have to say, I think walking around the warehouse club was the first time I ever noticed just how 'restrained' wearing shorts was, and I did regret it a bit.

I agree with ardchoille. I don't wear a kilt all the time (much to my wife's chagrin.) There are certain activities that are not conducive to wearing a kilt, and there are days when I just don't feel like it. However, the decision to wear or not to wear (sorry Mr. Shakespeare) is mine to make.

Wear it when you WANT to wear it....and wear something else on the other days.

    Not a problem!

I've just ordered my first kilt, but I have borrowed one for the Burn's supper. I have to admit to a bit of trepidation of normal wear when it arrives......

What is scary is that I haven't worn mine yet and I think I have my next two picked out.
