In Honor Of Half-Way To St. Paddies Day
I got transferred to a new project today. I left a bulding of about 100 employees to go to a building of about 1000 employees. I left a private office/cube to move into a "lilly pad" office/cube right next to the mens room. I guess the upside is to think how much more efficient I'll be now that my bathroom breaks won't take very long due to the shortened commute.
Anyway, I asked my "Lilly Pad" mate if he thought that weating a kilt in the new building would be an issue( already got the OK from HR). He told me that I would definitely raise some iBrows. Muahahahaha, I can't wait. They don't call this group rabble for no reason at all.
Oh, and BTW, I'm going to the Half-Way to St Paddies celebration at the Auld Dubliner right after work.

A lilly pad? I can imagine the workplace future... standing room only.

We're having a Halfway to St. Patrick's Day in Beloit. Music session at our favorite pub with a bunch of friends. What could be better?

I think this is the day, no?! Happy half-way to St. Patty's. I'll be reminding my own son Patrick, he keeps track of that kind of stuff.

I'm getting picked up in a limo by a Guinness promotional team, and making a tour of Irish pubs all evening, piping the Guinness Girls in at each stop.

Somebody has to do it! Looks like you drew the short straw! Only the best to you in your endeavors involving, Guiness, girls, pipes, pubs and kilts. Please attempt to persevere. Personally, I will have a single can of Guiness as that is last in the fridge.
