I quite like 4 for the colors and historical connection. I, at 1st was drawn to 1 but 4... definitely.

As with most Im torn between 2 and 4. I like the historical part of 4 but 2 has really grown on me.

I also voted for #4 of those tartans. It's one I'd wear. I like larger stripes of the green and blue, with just a little red and a little white. It looks less like it's trying to be RED, WHITE, and BLUE tartan (of which there are too many). I also like the history behind it.

I like #1 because it's a nice combination of colors without looking as similiar as #4 to other tartans (nothing against that). In order it'd be #1 then #4.

Can I second McMurdo's choice for #'s 2 and 4. Would those be neat pleated to the stripe?

    Good work Rob!
Since I did have a minor input in this. I'm voting for #4.

#4 looks the most balanced to my eye.

I actually like number 3, although let the Chigago rabble choose. Might I suggest a very symbolic (and heavy) kilt pin as ChiTown is the Windy city !

    Ahhhh...A Chicago Tartan. Yeah, baby!

I am from Chicago...now lost in Tokyo. I think it is great that someone is trying to get a Chi-town tartan regestered.
I like 2. I would wear it in a heartbeat. Everyone likes #4 but it looks too much like other tartans in my mind. I also like #3. Hard choice.

Maybe you should submit a North Sider tartan and a seporate South Sider tartan...Any other Chicagoans agree? (North Sider here...Go Cubbies!!!)
