Glen-
I really did love Jeremy Brett as Sherlock. I remember watching them Sunday nights when I was a kid with my Grandmother. I do own the Brett series and enjoy re-watching it often (usually the birthday weekend and around the first week of May, two very import Holmes dates)You might enjoy Peter Cushing’s interpretation of Holmes as well. Although I hear Vasili Livanov and Vitali Solomin are an awesome Holmes and Watson, I just can’t understand Russian!!

If you are interested in Holmes, you might want to look into “The Boot Makers of Toronto”. They are a Sherlockian society based in Toronto. They hold interesting meeting nights (one was a tour of a forensic lab) and the quarterly magazine, The “Canadian Holmes” , is always very full of interesting Sherlockian essays.

They also support the Arthur Conan Doyle collection at the Toronto Reference Library. That floor is a Sherlockians dream come true. I think I spent at least 3 hours there last time I visited.

A good site to visit for Holmes information, including Societies, is Chris Redmond’s http://www.sherlockian.net/

Again Glen I think the hat looks grand. I even might have to get one some day!
