    You could just wear it...

I was just putting around the block so I could say that I have. ATGATT is wise. I don't do it, but it is wise.
Did you find a kilt roll that you liked? So far I have taken a kilt with me while riding twice. Both times I just rolled it up, put it in a bag and threw it in the saddlebag, but I wasn't packing a whole bunch of stuff. Just what I needed to change into at an event.

Retro Red and I are working out a lendng program, I will hopefully borrow his. I have three cases on the bike, but to make my wife happy in taking these trips- I have to give her those three cases, lol, so I must pack my things on the outside.

You could also wear the kilt over your shoulders poncho/cape style and let it fly in the breeze like a super hero as you rode. Would air it out well.

Enjoy Bisbee...hope you're taking the backroads for both beauty and safety.

Umm- I had thought of that, and might do that if I was riding alone. Frankly, I would prefer something more like Batman's cape, but a little shorter so I don't experience an Isadora Duncan. Too, it might kind of obscure Terry's (my S.O.) vision so I'll save that for when I want to ride alone (I mean really alone cuz I don't think my riding buddies will come along either.)

I'm still trying to figure out a good way to ride in a kilt... I was thinking of getting a UK and adding some snaps to it and a matching set to my chaps. Yes, I also ride with ATGATT. Or I could just sell the kids and buy the UK's black leather kilt... heh... Lottery anyone?

    Hey Panzer,

The UK Workman's has those modesty snaps on the center hem. They look pretty weird if they're snapped up. BUT, if you add one of those snap strap things that bikers use to keep their leather vests from flapping you'll find the snaps on the vest snap strap dealies fit the UK modesty snaps too.

Whatcha can do is snap one of them vest snap dealies to each side of the UK modesty snaps then there's another four inches of freedom and it doesn't look so weird but the snap strap dealie keeps the UK from flying up.

Just have to use it on board. Can unsnap it when the ride's over.

Not a bad idea... But how do you overcome the side pleats from flying out behind you as you ride? My bike doesn't have a faring... Yea, I'm old school... And chaps don't cover the ole seat warmer either... So now I've got this mental image of me riding down the highway with the front of my kilt held in place and the pleats flying straight out behind me... Heh... And a mini van full of kids in the next lane...
