My vote went to Iseabail... Or Izzy for short
"A veteran, whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve, is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life." That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand it." anon

Being an Aussie myself, Kenna is definitely a more suitable name for an Aussie dog; "Siobhan" is pretty, but a bit too delicate sounding for a good faithful Aussie dog.

I heard somewhere that dogs respond best to names with hard consonant-sounds, like T, P and K. So Kenna gets my vote.

Does anyone else see the humour is someone with the user name Cat asking for help naming a dog

As another MacKenzie (mother's side) I am also puzzled by this.
Having said that, I voted for simply Kenna (not MacKenzie). It is simple sounding, easy to say and easy for the dog to comprehend. The others are nice, but to complicated. Keep it simple

Thanks everyone! I couldn't decide on Mackenzie and Kenna, so I sort of split the difference and named her "Kenzie." I like it a lot, and she's already responding to it! She learns VERY quickly (although there's still the whole cat-chasing thing that we've got to work on.)
Thanks for the suggestions, and I'll post some pictures of her soon!

I see you found a name already.
If I take a new dog I always look at her/him first , sometimes short otherwise it will take me some days to "see" the dog ,s name.

Well, thanks for playing anyway! I tend to do the same thing though, watching an animal for a while before I name it. I took the suggestions of fellow XMarker's, but still put my own spin on it. Plus, it fits her perfectly!

Cat... such an ironic screen name for a new dog owner.
