I feel the same way. I have looked at several jackets at the games, none will fit me, but I expect that. Then I compare them with mine, which I got from J. Higgins, http://www.jhiggins.net/ and know if I go for a Crail or PC, or Argyle, that is where I'll go.

I looked but couldn't find a crail jacket at this site either.

Since the Stone Mountain games is a few weeks away, I recommend you wait and check out the vendors there. You will be able to try on different sizes and examine the workmanship before you part with your money.

Tommy, the crail is the type of sleve cuff you choose; the rest of the jacket is the same. [So looke at the cuff options here J. Higgins, Ltd. -- Daywear Outfit. That's the link given before.
They don't name them crail or argyle, so here is a thread that explains the cuff differences, and why it is so confusing.

Well, the price is pretty good for a set (jacket and vest). Not much choices in colours though. This blue tweed is an unusual colour.

Argylls, Braemars, Crails, and modern are all determined by the ornamentation on the cuffs. This is lacking the cuff ornamentation, which is sort of a plus in my opinion. It could be a crail with only one button.

Actually, I prefer the modern kilt jacket which is more of a sportcoat without the epaulettes and cuff ornamentation.

Not sure how they are doing this at this price. There must be a catch!

I feel somewhat the same way, and a matching five button waistcoat could be added to make it a bit like a suit. That would be for dressy day and evening wear, but not something formal. Like if I ever end up at any formal events.

I've been in their store in Buffalo. Bought some kilt hose and flashes. They're a reputable, if pricey, vendor. I can't vouch for the actual item.

I bought my practice chanters from them, at their store in Buffalo. While i was there there were 2 firemen purchasing their pipes, as that is where their pipe teacher sent them.

I agree their prices are a bit expensive, but sometimes they have very good sales.

I think at one point in time they were the only dealers in western NY and PA for Kilts and Bagpipes.

I personally like the jacket set you are looking at. I looked at it in person and it looks well made, not cheap!
