Just wear it... At a jaunty angle, tilted to the right and tipped slightly forward, badge uppermost. It's a great hat and shouldn't be restricted by the "should I-shouldn't I" Police!!

I've got a Pith helmet as well... but it hasn't got a badge on it; Should I? Shouldn't I?
