Removing pills from fabric
can someone tell me how to remove the pills or small rolls of fabric from my kilt. I have heard of a tool used to do this task but alas no idea of what it is called or where to find one
thanks

This might be what you're looking for:

Alternatively, you might simply use a razor.

I've used a contraption like this for acrylic and wool sweaters, so it would probably work fine. I think I've gotten them at Target for about $7 or so. The screen protects the fabric from getting caught up in the blade.

I've used mine on my kilts. It works quite well, especially if you go slowly.

For years I have used a disposable bic razor. They work great.

This might be a bit gentler to the fabric of your kilt...use it on your knitwear (kilt hose) as well.
