My favourite Irish film is Waking Ned Devine. It's well worth seeing. For some reason it was filmed on the Isle of Man, but the cast are all Irish, and it's supposed to be set in Ireland.
If you include American films about Irish Americans, let's not forget "Road to Perdition".
