    Kilt Strap Extenders

Just got my new catalog from our friends at Celtic Croft. They're offering kilt strap extenders for us fat guys. They come as a set of three for $25 and attach to the existing kilt straps by buckling on to the end of the now too short straps. They can add up to three inches to the waist size and if adjusted properly still keep the kilt apron centered.

Gotta go look at my tight fitting kilts and see how many sets I need.

They work really well. My guy wears them with one of his kilts, abd they are a kilt saver.

You could make do with one and put it on the kilt you plan to wear at that time. Or perhaps 2 in different widths. Straps are usually either 1 1/4'' or 1 1/2'' wide.

You know, you could order one even if you don't need them, then have that much less pressure when ordering a kilt, if its just a bit too small, you're already set.

Great find Ron. I just ordered a set. Now I can resurrect a couple of my traditional kilts that have be hanging on the too small side of my closet. Thanks for the heads up.

I have a set of extenders but for the opposite reason. I'm losing weight so the last three kilt I bought are 2" smaller than my current waist size. The extenders allow me to wear them now despite being too large for them.
