For me, that is enough reason right there but Peabody is actually very nice as far as Boston suburbs go.

Boston is a nice place to visit but I wouldn't want to live anywhere near there because crime is high, cost of living is ridiculous, and traffic is a nightmare. Granted, those problems are actually lower than many other cities of similar size but that doesn't make them any less of a pain. Additionally, Massachusetts in general has a few annoyances I'm not fond of like the strictest gun laws in the country (that for some reason don't seem to cut down on random shootings) and income taxes.

All of this is just my opinion though. All of my relatives live in Massachusetts and like it. I also know many people who live in or around Boston and they say they wouldn't live anywhere else. It all boils down to "one man's paradise is another man's nightmare".
