Your fabric has be pre-washed and is in a box awaiting me to begin work on it. I have a few Kilts ahead of you on the order board and a couple of those are for special events that I just can't miss delivery on.

I promise I will let you know as soon as you are the next Kilt in line.

Hi George,
As promised here are some photos of your kilt being made.

The first shows the 4 pieces laid out on the table.
Why four pieces you ask????????

Well, that is because the Camo pattern goes the length of the fabric. So to keep the alignment of the Camo the same as that in your uniform I have to cut the fabric in pieces and then join them side to side.




Here's a closer shot of the four pieces. Note that the pleats are topstitched and pinned in place, the Hem is in and the apron tapers and apron tips are sewn.

Yes, that's right. The air force wears green boots. The technical term is "sage."

Wow...35 years ago I wore Tiger Stripes and jungle boots (green canvas tops with black leather bottoms.) Good things do come back around.
