I teach fifth grade students, and I have created "Kilt Wednesdays". I wear my kilt every Wednesday. one of my students has been wearing a kilt on Wednesdays also. One of the female teachers has started wearing her long tartan dress on Wednesdays too. I have been doing this for a while; at first I got a bunch of comments both good and not so good. Now, it's just a normal thing for everyone to see me in a kilt. I say, create your own occasions, however, there need not be ay occasion to wear a kilt!
